I Am That Woman

Confession time.

I've become that mom.

You know, the one that obsessively checks to see if her child is breathing every night before she goes to bed. Yeah.

I used to say it was just because I like the sound of his breathing. Which I do. I said it was only every now and then. Which it's not.

Then tonight I actually asked my husband if he would check for me.

And so it is now proven beyond a reasonable doubt that I am that woman.

And I might as well just admit it right now.

I'll probably be doing it until he's 16.
