The Drive to Salida

Last weekend, one of my husband's anniversary gifts to me was the drive to Salida with the freedom to photograph my heart out and stop as often as we wanted to take pictures.  We actually ended up stopping only once, but I did get quite a few photos I was pretty please with.  Take a look.

Salida Skate Contest

Last weekend, before getting in the car to head back home from our weekend in Salida, we got to watch a little bit of a skating/biking contest that the locals were having.  I'd never seen anything like this in person, and I jumped on the opportunity to play with the action setting on my camera.  Check it out...
